Orochi the +Dead+ Snake

Because a lot of people asked, here's the picture of the dead snake in my closet that I mentioned in my journal. I love snakes, btw, and I'm really sad it's dead but I tried to make the best of it and had lots of fun with Orochi.

The following story has been dramatized:

The legend says that once upon the beginning of a school semester in the land of Berkeley, California, two freshman girls went hiking in the mysterious UCB Campus research territory. During their journey back to the dorms, a girl (my roommate) stumbled upon a most curious thing on the ground.

"Hey, look, a dead snake." She observed, inspecting the open hole in the midsection of the snake's underbelly.

"GASP!!!" Exclaimed the other girl (me) who instantly squat down to poke the snake with a stick. A few ants crawled out from the wound.

"How sad."

"Yeah. It looks like a fresh kill, too."

"..."

"It's...so...CUTE!!! "

"..."

"Let's keep it!!! " Said the less mentally stable of two (me).

"I don't want it, but I won't stop you." The more mentally stable of the two muttered. It was a wise decision lest she wish to endure hours of whining.

"YAY!!!" And with that, the snake was gently placed in a bag and brought back to the dorms of Stern Hall.

"I shall name you Orochi! After Orochimaru! XD " The mental girl declared, and then proceed to take numerous pictures and videos of her beloved Orochi. After the photo shoots, Orochi was placed on a windowsill to dry out in the California SUN and after a few days, he transformed into jerky and lived happily ever after in the mental girl's closest of doom... Until the third roommate found out and was not pleased XD

Btw, Orochi is very small, only about the thickness of a pencil. This picture was taken before he turned into jerky.
