T_T Since I'm leaving for college soon, I've been thinking about how much people can change in 18 years. The road from childhood to adulthood is a strange one but I noticed that a lot of people (like my friends) share the same general process:

stage 1: innocent and happy
stage 2: somewhat overwhelmed and confused by the world
stage 3: is confident to take on the world
stage 4: realize it's not as easy as imagined/ fall into temporary despair
stage 5: get over it, move on with life :D

Of course this doesn't apply to everyone but at least that's how I grew up. ;_; I wanna be young again...
