It's so simple in some ways, but really deep at the same time, I really like this :)

Well...my parents divorced when I was 11. It was a very rough road, they didn't officialy divorce though until a year and a half ago (I'm 18 now) before it was a trial seperation. I wish I could say it was for the best because there happy now, but they still fight a lot. Then again my situation is different. I mean, about 2 year after my father left my brother and me moved in with my father, finally. Before that it was constantly going back and forth, then he took us for good. I was so happy...my mother became an alcoholic and got a terrible boyfriend. My brother and I took it out on eachother for years, moving in with my father calmed us down, though we had to fight a lot with my mom and her parents. Anyway, now I try not to look back on my childhood, even before my parents split it wasn't stuff I would like to remember, other than my parents being happy together. This picture makes me picture myself thinking back to when I had a mother, it's like her reminding me that she did love me, even though that mother is long dead I would still like to think that she wanted me to know that. I can't thank you enough for taking the time to create this work of art. I rarely talk about my past like this, but this picture just brought it all out of me..and I wanted you to know that it really does mean a lot. Your talent knows no bounds <3

This is really moving, and still very sad. D: There's so much lonliness and confusion in the picture. Oh damn it I love your art!

childhood was bitter-sweet for me, at school i was always alone, and my mom gave birth to me when she was 40 so my parents we're too old for what parents on their 30s could do (go out on a picnic, do some spots etc.) but i had my fair share of smiles, i'd hate myself if i said my childhood was horrible, it was just what i needed to be able to handle the hardships i have now
