Chapter 2 Bonus Knite: Chapter 2 Bonus by yuumei

Chapter 1 Knite: Chapter 1 by yuumei
Chapter 3 Knite: Chapter 3 by yuumei

Yay! Chapter 2 is finally out after being late for.... 3 months... chapter 2 is just some more background story and character intro, the real plot starts in chapter 3 ;p (and if you're thinking something doesn't add up, it will... it will... )

There will be around 8-9 chapters total (maybe more, since I keep adding more scenes...)

Translations to other languages can be viewed here :iconknites:
If you are interested in translating Knite, please read this… Thank you!

Everything was drawn in Paint tool SAI, the textures were added in Photoshop, and the comic was put together in Macromedia Flash.

"More friends? I can hardly stand the ones I have now."
:) It's so amazing. I'm pretty sure Ling likes Sen, and Sen reminds me of Nico from Percy Jackson XD

I am impressed at the way you use your amazing artistic talent to discuss real life problems. I live in a country where the rich are literally getting richer and the poorer are getting poorer. The ones running the country are fat and rich while the rest, despite possessing the necessary skills to succeed and make a change, are ignored or silenced. I see richer children misuse and abuse the luxury they have, and I watch the children with nothing struggle to reach as far as circumstances and means will let them. I wonder every time, "Why won't the people  meant to lead us hear their cry? Why won't they help?"
And soon i realized there would be no help.
You have helped me see beyond this murky hopelessness that seemed to so adamantly cloud my eyes. You have helped me understand that I, too, can make a change, somehow, with whatever it is I am good at.
And for this, I offer my gratitude.

what part of china did you come from? because what you said in the note don`t match with the reality.... I live in pequim and I visited many cities and contrysides and every places that I visited, the books and the uniform are free and we only have to pay for the uniniversity.. I think it´s because you don´t live in the china so you have some wrong ideias. maybe some parts of chine what you said is real but you got a bad generalisation.

I think the reason why some kids skip school, and take it for granted is because they don't understand the privileges they have. It's sad to learn this is actually a thing around the world, and I greatly wish it wasn't, but unfortunately, a few peoples wishes won't change the general works outlooks and demeanor.

Regardless, this is a beautiful comic and I love it~

I don't understand why people have themselves lose a good chance at school. I understand they may think it's boring, but to deprive themselves of FREE education is a silly choice. I believe people, in Australia at least, have forgotten how important good education is. The kids in my class last year, just didn't care. They threw, broke, lost pens and other stationairy without a care in the world. And to think there are kids in other countries that desperatley need these nessesities but have to pay for their education at the same time. We are the privliged and it's up to us to help these children to get a better chance at life, a better chance at being who they want to be! But we just can't be bothered. This goes for all countries, not just the privliged.

You do realize how useless school really is, right? School doesn't teach you how to live in the real world. You get "educated" on information that's pretty much useless to you in the end. There are a lot of people I know who become successful WITHOUT school education. Even famous celebs have stated how school doesn't teach what is important.

You see in Australia, schools offer things offer courses for trade which can lead to apprenticeships, therefor can get you(quite easily) into jobs. As I far as I've read, you don't need and OP to get into university, we do. The only way we can get that is through school ( It's very hard, I'm doing OP this year). EVERY  uni requires OP (except for the preforming arts courses). It can grant acsess to agriculture, the school I go to is said to be the gateway to agriculture - we have a large farm. I'm not sure what they do in Canada, but school is very important. I was just saying what I believe to be true. If you don't like school, just drop out, and don't wag. Wagging is bad. Well, that just tired me out I think I've fainted. I think I've fainted.

I'm a nerd, so I would never ditch school. Yes, it is quite a shame, especially when some countries have no accessible education. The only education you need is knowledge of labor for men and housework for women. We, who have lived under a roof for most of our lives, have no idea what it means to live outside(metaphorically). Quite a shame, to drop classes and skip school in order to look cool or be popular. Where will that popularity get you in life? Nowhere, unless you happen to be born with a magic pass called luck.

The problem with American schools though, is the entire idea of it is to make you a wage slave. Yes, we can learn good things like math, science, reading and only at some art. But, the underlining idea is to respect authority do your work and follow the rules. Then we get fed a history lesson of more fiction then fact to make our country look good when our government lies to us and kills all that oppose a threat. I mean how many people know that Martin Luther King Jr was killed by the government and they were actually convicted for it in the 1990's. We need a proper education for everyone, with basic life skills that are needed for the everyday to survive without the need of money or corporations that enslave countries to make an extra dollar. We are at a technological point that if we used our resources wisely we could build these giant turbines that would cleanse the air of CO2 gasses in a year, have a machine in your home that makes any meal you can think of, blow out homes from the ground within seconds to your specifications. all of these things have already been invented the only problem is cost. Are we so simple minded that the economy, this made up concept of how life works, should come before the planet, the only reason we exist.

I feel amused for that final note, makes me put up a paralel with a situation in my own life. In my country we've free public schools until we finish High school. On that journey in the high school, my class was blessed to have a teacher that was working along with a program where schools from all around the world can "adopt" another school. We took one from south africa which had no library, kids would clean up the school in order to repay for their studies, they would barely have scraps of papers and pens, they go to school with only a coup of tea in their stomach, and they live by it the most of the day if it's generous enough to have more food, most are orphans and leave by grand parents, aunts and neighboorhoods, they only had the brances disposed to form what seemed like an indian tribe tent to have their classes. They were over 50 in one class, in my society we had 25 and it's already almost impossible to have classes with so much people.... In the begining we started donating every single one of us each month some money with the minimum of  a euro, we made sells to get even more funds and on the last year of highschool we made them a full library, improvements in the facilities and of course new rooms for them to have classes. Yet, once there was the chance for us to have a real contact with the teacher and one student from the school. They came to us, the flight was ensured by the institutions behind this program. The thing is that the kid was a 5th grader, and had such a observant skills, such a dedicated mind, her politeness would make any of us ashamed of ourselves. Any of ther classmates where like that too. We know. But yet when there was the presentation, my mates kept on talking, saying how bored they were to be there, like in every single minute of their school life. But those kids in that tent would have just shut up, to capture every word that anyone would say to them. Every class I attended ever since 1st grade, we're few students and a lot of noise, people of the school used to call the classes by animals and beasts because it didn't seemed that we had developed and evolved at all. We were 8 graders and some would hit the tables on the ground whenever a teacher had to go out of the class and it would be heard even outside of school... beast and animal behaviour and there's nothing that can make me think otherways. Yet those kids from that school were different. they're charisma was more wonderfull than the people I knew when I was they're age. Actually I hope they all keep like that, 'cause i'd like to live in a world where people like them would take some leads, instead of beasty rich boys I knew who are still with adult crap shit atitudes. The longer I live the longer I see the generations developping (I not that so old that you might think me) and all I see is kids like a borrowed cousin of mine who showed up at home with a piercing on her nose at the age of ten when none of the parents had a single clue she was going to do it, and she not knowing the implicances that it takes to be kept on matters of health and infection. Dresses to show more than her age, more than her status, more than her height, has conversations with older people than her on internet, I've known that 'cause acidentaly she added me in once, I i bet she doesn't tell them her real age, doesn't give a fuck about school, is on a special class, not for illness reasons but it's a class for kids who simply don't mind studying, so they've less classes, and study with school directors; dresses like a 30 year old....night woman, and the culture that she embraces is Funk, Kizomba... nothing against those music styles, that's not the point, it's the level she is taking her life with 13 years, trying to go for a 20 year old but who doesn't know anything in the world. PArents won't make anything out of her, she quit studying and is now on a course but she might quit it too... I hope not, but i see so many kids that make me reselmble her that she is like a repetitive episode of the life I see the youngest taking, a life that some old friends of mine decided to dive in too and... well, they have a really complicated life and it's itself a touchy subject.
