Fisheye Placebo bandanna design inspired by 2011 protesters around the world!
It's almost funny when I first started writing the plot for this story (which is essentially about hackers trying to bring democracy to a totalitarian country) was in the December of 2010 right before the Tunisian revolution occurred. Then through out 2011 people all around the world gathered to demand for freedom and justice. They have been such a great inspiration for everything. Times Magazine was right to choose the protesters as the person of the year
I still have to finish Knite before I begin posting Fisheye Placebo but with everything happening around us, I honestly can't wait to share this story too. For now, here's another concept design.
I can't get enough of his smug little look. His self righteousness, intelligence, theology, and sense of justice makes him an endeared little terrorist. In my opinion he is like that somewhat annoying liberal kid/brother that you can never hold a grudge against or else you will end up feeling guilty and hurt. I already know that he and all of his ideals are going to go up in flames, and that he is going to cause an entire storm of anarchy. He reminds me somewhat of Near from Deathnote.
I'm still trying to figure out how you colour. There is texture on the piece and great brush strokes... I probably need better brushes. It's really great, I would like to be able to draw in this style too.
I was lucky enough to buy a print of this at your table a few weekends ago. I've been carrying it around and looking at it non-stop ever since. I wish I could have bought more of your work. It's amazing!
i keep coming back to this......im not sure why. i hope you don't mind i saved this onto my ipod. it's much more convenient. I'm really looking forward to fisheye placebo! I hope it's as great as knite!
