Over the years, I've done several works with the concept of humans stealing wings from birds to look like angels

In those works, the decision to be selfish was always presented as a conscious choice, but what if it's not a choice? At least not in the regular sense. What if humanity's narcissism is so intrinsic to being human that in an ironic sense, we are also victims?
In the attempt to elevate humanity's image to the level of imaginary angels, humans have caged themselves with the ideology of perfection. The expression on the human's face is a tell tale hint of its level of self awareness.

See, this is one of the problems of most of society. They expect you to be this perfect "god", per se, who doesn't make mistakes and is always top banana. Make one, ONE mistake, and they start throwing bitchfits at you just for making one. Mistakes are what make us grow as humans, and they're what make us ones, as well. One shouldn't be put down for not living up to others' expectations of perfection, but instead, they should embrace their errors and learn from them to become better. A good pic with a good message about the wrongs of our world overall.
